The drivers load, and work, on 64-bit Windows. So, when Canon says these drivers are compatible with 64-bit Windows, they are right, in that sense. If you use a 32-bit TWAIN application, it will easily find your (32-bit) Canon scanner drivers, and talk to your scanner, and it does this on 64-bit Windows. The fact that the Windowstwain_64 folder is empty means your Canon scanner does not have TWAIN drivers that are 64-bit. I know that sounds crazy but this is a very common situation, and if you are confused & frustrated, I can only say that you are not alone. But they are not compatible with 64-bit TWAIN or 64-bit TWAIN applications. Your drivers are compatible with 64-bit Windows.
